William P. Matthiessen

William P. “Bill” Matthiessen age 61, of Lake in the Hills, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Elgin. He was born on October 21, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Lorraine (Ryan) Matthiessen.

Bill is survived by his sons, William Arthur Matthiessen and Matthew Paul Matthiessen; his grandchildren, Leah Lorraine Matthiessen and Brayden Lee Matthiessen; his siblings, Henry (Jean) Matthiessen, Jane (Bob) Knudson, Dan (Gale) Matthiessen, Walter Matthiessen and James Matthiessen; his nieces & nephews, Christine, Christopher, Tod, September and Henry Jr.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Marie Matthiessen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Interment will be private
