Wendy Vanderkamp

Wendy Vanderkamp age 73, of Crystal Lake, Illinois and formerly of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on August 20, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 15, 1949 to parents Melvin and Elsie (Gardner) Vanderkamp.

Wendy was an employee at John Evans Inn for 25 years.  She was amazing at her job and well loved by everyone.  She enjoyed golfing and traveling when she was young.  After retirement she spent many summers with her dear friend Alice from AZ and lovingly cared for her cats.

Wendy is survived by her sons, Aaron Rohrbacher and Clint (Rebecca) Harvey; her grandchildren, Brianna, Jared, Kayla, Travis, Alicia (Joe) Cerny, Sara (Rey) Castillo, Anna and Garrett; her great grandchildren Joseph and Memphis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and Wayne.

Cremation rites were held privately.
