Waldemar "Wally" Ramirez

Waldemar "Wally" Ramirez age 65, of Carpentersville, Illinois passed away at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Illinois away on July 20, 2023. He was born in Manhattan, NY on November 6, 1957 to Waldemar and Elia Rameriz.

He was a proud United States Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War era.

Wally is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Elena (Torres) Ramirez; his loving daughters, Jessica (Michael) Turner, Gloria (Robert) Hendricks and Maria (Matthew) Weiss; his cherished grandchildren, Lydia, Bianca, Trace, Taion, Lilliana, Sebastian and William; his dear siblings, William Ramirez, John Rios, Jeanine Rios; his dear father, Juan "Cuco" Rios

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a prayer service and a time of sharing to begin at 7:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt. 31) Algonquin.

Cremation rites will follow privately. A private family inurnment will take place at Dundee Twp. Cemetery - East
