Virginia Mary Jurzak Kozubal, beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Kozubal died at home in the arms of her loving son Daniel J. Kozubal on Friday 26th of September 2025. Virginia leaves behind her cherished grandsons, Daniel R. (Gerry) Kozubal-Welch of California and Christopher S. Kozubal of Arizona. She was the last survivor of her family and her husband's. She leaves behind special nieces and nephews, Carol (James) Lippert, Beverly (Gustavo) Jimenez, Ronald (Penney) Jurzak and six great nieces and nephews. Alan (Monica), Heather (Michael), Alexander, Nikolas, Samuel, and Benjamin. Friends: a dear childhood friend Irene Kochanski and Doris Chen, a close friend for the last 5 decades. Virginia’s doxiepoo, Lucy, provided companionship for the last twelve years.
Visitation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, located at 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL, will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, October 6th, 2025. A Funeral Mass is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately after the service at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL as Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband Joseph Kozubal.
