Timothy John Moravec

Timothy John Moravec age 55, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away unexpectedly at home on October 14, 2021.

He was born on May 26, 1966 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois to Robert F. and Shirley A. (Voorhees) Moravec. They settled in Lake in the Hills with his three siblings.

He had a successful career working over thirty years with Comcast Corporation in the construction division.

Tim most recently lived in Orange County, California before moving back to Illinois. He loved the outdoors and biked and hiked near the ocean. He was also a yoga and fitness enthusiast. He especially enjoyed his yoga community in Illinois and California.

Tim is survived by his children, Jake Moravec of Laguna Niguel, California and Justin Moravec of Lake in the Hills, Illinois and Clara Moravec of Allen, Texas. Surviving brothers and sisters include Robert M. Moravec of Huntley, Illinois and Patti Farley of Lake in the Hills, Illinois and Daniel Moravec (Linda Chen) of Rowland Heights, California. Also surviving are his loving nieces and nephews, Jillian Farley, Kylie Moravec and Nicholas Farley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Shirley A. Moravec.

A memorial visitation for Tim will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM along with a Memorial Tribute to begin at 2:00 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
