Obituary
Thomas "Tom" M. Swiatkowski age 78, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away at home on August 29, 2023, with his family at his side. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 15, 1945, to his parents Edward and Frances (Szura) Swiatkowski.
Tom was a proud father, grandpa, and husband; and a loving son and family member. He was a kind neighbor and attentive community member. Tom was a disciplined hard worker, excellent provider, and always did his best. We’ll miss his silly sense of humor, his smile, his sense of duty, and most importantly his care and companionship. Tom loved making friends, working outside in the yard, and enjoying the company of family.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas E. (Natalie) Swiatkowski and Nicholas Swiatkowski; his five grandchildren, Jackson, Davis, Zelda, Ida and Oscar; and his siblings, Susan (Tom) Henrichs and Dennis (Joan) Swiatkowski.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his beautiful, kind, and loving wife of 51 years, Carol A. (nee Armato) Swiatkowski.
Visitation for Thomas will be held this Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of a 1:00 PM prayer service all at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Interment will follow at River Valley Memorial Gardens in West Dundee, Illinois.
