Theodore "Ted" Adams

Theodore “Ted” Adams age 83, of Pingree Grove, IL passed away on June 20, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1940 the son of Raymond and Evelyn (Kotlowski) Adams.

Ted coached his sons for many years in youth football, he was a huge Chicago Bears fan, he enjoyed boating, water & snow skiing, he was a gun collector and loved driving his 944 Porsche with the license plates "C Ted Go".   More than anything, Ted loved the daily cooking from his wife. We can still hear him saying "Very Good Diane!  Thank you for dinner!"  

Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Diane M. (Gallas) Adams; his loving sons, Ted Adams Jr. and Guy Adams; his cherished grandchildren, Britney, Sarah (Sarah's Fiancé Conner Lemcke), Rachel, Bailey, Peyton and Tori; he was an uncle of many!

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) in Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.  Visitation will also continue at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of an 11:00 a.m. funeral service.

Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, Illinois.
