Tammie Pullin Obituary

Tammie “TT” Pullin age 44 of Cary, formerly of “A Town” (a.k.a. Algonquin), passed away on November 10, 2021.

She was serving our community as a proud Firefighter/Paramedic for the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District with 14 years of dedicated service.

She was born in Arlington Heights on March 13, 1977 the beloved daughter of Michael and Pamela Lee (Lucas) Krysh.

Tammie is survived by her loving husband David; her parents Michael and Pamela Lee Krysh; her siblings Michael (Tiffanie) Krysh, Colleen (Rick) Walrath, Troy Krysh, and Jose (Keri) Villarreal; her nieces and nephews Emma, Everett, Delaney, Gabrielle, Hailey, Brooklyn, Abraham, Amelia, and Luis.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents Dan and Rita Krysh, her Maternal grandparents Anne “Zsa Zsa” and Alvin Lucas, and her aunt Debbie Scheltens.

Tammie enjoyed life during her school years as an accomplished multi-sport athlete.  Her fullest enjoyment came in her adult life helping others as a career Firefighter / Paramedic / Swift Water Rescue (living the dream!), a loving aunt, and adored friend to many.  Tammie broke barriers as the first in history female Firefighter in Belvidere IL before her eventual move to the department in her hometown of Algonquin-Lake in the Hills.  She was greatly cherished, highly respected, an inspiration, and a mentor to many.  Tammie will be missed immensely.

Visitation for Tammie will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of a 12 noon funeral service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. (Fireman's walk-through will begin at 11:30 AM)

Entombment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
