Susan Rhea Reese

Susan Rhea Reese age 71, of Cary passed away peacefully on June 5, 2021 at her home.

Susan is survived by her husband, John S. Reese; daughter, Bridgette Donofrio, her son, Tony Fera and her son, Dominic Fera, and her step-daughter Amanda Polito; her 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Jagielski, her sister, Mary DiDomenico, and brother, John Jagielski. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Jagielski and her mother, Jean Jagielski, and her sister, Kathy Christ.

Susan was born on September 27, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents, Jerome and Jean Jagielski. She graduated from The Academy of the Visitation in Dubuque, Iowa.

​Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a successful business owner, an award-winning artist specializing in oil portraits. She had many creative outlets including diverse mediums and needlework. She was an avid gardner and spent endless hours cultivating various species of lillies and roses. Susan and her husband enjoyed their many drag racing and auto show events.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Susan will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM along with a prayer service to begin at 11:00 AM that morning, with Rev. Tim Seigel officiating at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd,) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
