Suzy is my sister. Life with Sue was always interesting. Some comical things I would like to share. First Sue was 9 years older than me and she looked like a Barbie doll to me. She looked pretty all the time... ok well there were times...
There was the time she put straight bleach on her hair, left it in for about an hour. We were in the downstairs bathroom and when she took the towel off her head and removed the plastic shower cap her hair was every between white and raspberry swirl. Cool as a cucumber Sue calmly put the towel on her head a d went upstairs to show mom. Jean gave one of her inhales three only Jean could do and got Elaine Einsweiler on the phone. (Elaine used to do hair) so off we go to Galena where Elaine had to do a color correction and chewed sue’s ass while she told her repeatedly she was lucky she H-D any hair on her head at all...

Sue would also buy peg leg jeans and sit in a tub of cold water in the jeans and let the jeans dry on her. This ensures that they fit skin tight. Ok so this was the problem. When she finally took them off and could breathe getting them back on was an issue. So Sue would lay on her back with her legs bent at the knee dangling off the end of the bed. I would sit on sues stomach and had one of those big diaper pins in the hole of the zipper pull and and Sue would pull the two sides of the jeans together and I would the zipper closed.....seriously.

So Kathy and Sue were arguing and Gramdma Becker Hadbought French provincial furniture for them for the bedroom. Kathy must have been working and mom told Sue to clean the bedroom. Sue put tape down the middle of the room and cleaned half the floor, half the dresser etc. oh yeah Jean was having none of it but it w as always interesting.

So at Christmastime Kathy and Suzy would sneak out the basement door and haul boxes of presents to the front door through the snow bang on the door and ring sleigh bells. John and I would kill each other getting to the door. We would be screaming Santa clause came mom Santa clause and we would be throwing packages in the house. Well then we were on guard and we made it to the door and saw a red coat go around the corner.....
Mom we saw Santa Claus we saw Santa clause mom we saw Santa Claus....!!!!!!! We saw his coat l we saw his coat!

They had to be Laughimg in bed that night laughing their asses off.

I know I’m laughing while I’m writing it.!

Sue was my sister-in-law.  She was a beautiful warm caring person who loved her family deeply.  She did a charcoal portrait of my son Ronnie which hangs in my house at this moment.  She will always be remembered and she was lucky to have the wonderful family who loved and cared for her each day.  Rest in quiet peace Sue you will be missed by many.
