Susan Laura Hacke

Susan Laura Hacke (Milan) age 74, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away in the comfort of her home on May 14, 2024 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada on April 28, 1950 the loving daughter of David and Hazel Milan. Susan was retired as a Nurse for Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois with 40 years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffry Hacke; her daughters, Rebekkah (Joshua) Aarnes and Rachael Hacke; her grandchildren, Tobias and Noah; her brothers Jim (Pam) Milan, Geoff (Lynn) Milan and Derrick (Dianne) Milan; she was also an aunt and dear friend to many.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Maynard.

Family & friends are welcome to assemble on Friday, May 17, 2024 starting around 6:00 p.m. at Harvest Bible Chapel, 1000 N. Randall Rd., Elgin., followed with a funeral service to begin at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee would be appreciated.
