Steven J. Sievers

Steve Sievers was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend whose warmth and laughter touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

For Steve, there were few places he was happier than on the golf course. Whether he was playing a round with family or friends, talking about the game, or looking forward to his next tee time, golf was one of his greatest passions. The friendships he built on the course and the memories made there brought him endless joy throughout his life.

Steve was known for his ever-present smile, quick wit, and playful sense of humor. He was always joking around, making people laugh, and bringing a lighthearted spirit wherever he went. His kindness, generosity, and genuine love for others made him someone who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Above all else, Steve treasured his family. He took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather, and the memories he created with those he loved will be cherished forever.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Sievers.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sylvia Sievers; his beloved wife, Shari Sievers; his children, Kristen Ramirez (Fabian) and Tad Sievers; his treasured granddaughter, Sophia Ramirez; his brother, Michael Sievers (Mary); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Steve’s legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave so freely, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. He will be remembered always for his warm smile, his joyful spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Willow Funeral home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin, IL 60102 A prayer service will be at 7 PM
