Shirley Schumacher Staron

Shirley Staron (Schumacher) age 90, a longtime resident of Lake in the Hills passed away on September 26, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Shirley was born on August 4, 1928 in Chicago, the loving daughter of John Charles and Anna Lorretta (Hilliard) Schumacher.

Shirley is survived by her children, Edward Staron, Gail (Dennis) Vogt, Linda (Wally) Potts; her grandchildren, Brian (Trisha) Vogt, Amanda (Charles) Vogt-Frazier, Eric Foglesong, Heather (Jim) Kvidera, Mark (Maria) Karsten and Jennifer (Nash) Wilson; she was a great grandmother of 14 and a great-great-grandmother of 1.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Staron; her daughter, Shirley M. Karsten,; grandson Jeffrey K. Foglesong; her parents and also her siblings, Edward Schumacher, John Schumacher, George Schmacher, Lorretta Rouch, Agnes Prince and Marie Mergens.

Visitation for Shirley will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 12 noon, with an 11:30 AM prayer service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Interment Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
