Shirley M. Capaci

Shirley M. Capaci (nee Johnson) age 88, of Barrington Hills, Illinois passed away in the comfort of her home on August 21, 2023 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Spirit, Wisconsin on March 25, 1935 the daughter of Adolph and Lena (nee Jorgensen) Johnson.

Shirley loved her slot machines, she spent many hours at home, building puzzles and playing word search puzzle games. Most of all she loved her grandchildren dearly and hanging out with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving son, Frank J. Jr. (Lisa) Capaci; her cherished grandchildren, Mario (Caryn), Angelina, Niko (fiancée Katherine Arneberg), Kylie (Tyler) Burns, Joseph, Olivia, Steven, Vincent, Julian (Madi) and Ethen; her proud great-grandchildren, Mario Jr., Gyana, Mia, Anthony, Bennett, Peyten, Raelynn and Ellie; her sister, Lillian (Gordon) Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank J. Capaci Sr.; her loving three sons, Steven, Tony and Brian Capaci and also her 10 siblings.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of a 4:00 PM Funeral Service, with Rev. Wayne Jahn officiating at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Private inurnment St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
