Scott D. Bergstrom age 69, of Huntley, Illinois passed away on August 3, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 24, 1954 the son of Harvey and Marie Bergstrom.
Scott enjoyed life, his toys, and many hobbies which included fishing, RC cars, and mostly fast cars. He was most proud of his Classic Corvette, Chevy Impala, and Dodge Magnum. Scott enjoyed sunny days where he could enjoy vet rides with Debbie and frequent local restaurants. Scott loved his family he was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother- in- law, and uncle. He had a successful career as a well-known and respected salesman for Queen Carpet and Shaw Industries that spanned more than forty-five years. Scott was known by many to be a “Great Guy”.
Scott is survived by his daughters, Heather (Anthony) LaCoco, and Kristen “Krissy” Koehnke; his grandchildren, Sarah LaCoco, Dominic LaCoco, Emily Koehnke, Scott “Scotty” Koehnke, and Joshua Kelley; his girlfriend, of nearly 11 years, Debra “Debbie” Britton; his sisters, Cheryle Kramer and Suezane (Ron) Pilipuf, and brother, Randy (Patti) Bergstrom; his sister -in-law, Kim (Tom) Johnstone, Donna (Pete) Liakopoulos, and brother-in-law, Bill (Patty) Bowers; and also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and mother and father-in-law, Scott was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonita “Bonnie” Bergstrom of 39 years and his dear brother-in- law, Karl Kramer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a 7:00 PM evening prayer service all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills
