Scott D. Chamberlain

Scott D. Chamberlain age 65, of Lake in the Hills passed away in Huntley on October 31, 2021.

He was born in Elgin, Illinois on March 22, 1956 to parents, David and Audrey (Whalen) Chamberlain.

Scott was retired as a dispatcher for the Lake in the Hills Police Department with 20 years of service.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; his mother-in-law, Isabell Schneider; his step-children, Alfonso (Tracy) Ruiz and Jessica (Tim) Miller; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Colin Levi and Lexi; his aunt, Cheryl Erdmann Rivers and also his canine buddies, Molly, Sally and Hallie including Tilly his cat.

Scott is also survived by his many dear friends and he enjoyed helping his neighbors and others. He enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking, making up his own recipes and working with his hands. He was also an avid collector of Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs memorabilia.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM along with a Time of Sharing to begin at 5:00 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
