Saveria "Vera" Ofelia De Marco

Saveria “Vera” Ofelia De Marco (Conforti) of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on October 18, 2025. She was born in Italy on April 13, 1949, the daughter of Osvaldo and Amalia Conforti.
 

Throughout her life, she was very close to her family and loved to spend time with everyone. She especially enjoyed decorating her home and hosting the most beautiful parties for Christmas. She loved to sing and dance; she was the life of the party and lit up every room she entered. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she always brought everyone joy. She was selfless, supporting every person in her family with her love and care. She was artistic and expressed her talent through crocheting the most beautiful patterns of blankets, scarves, hats, and so much more. Above all, she was a strong and confident Catholic woman, and her faith was of the upmost importance to her. She adored the Blessed Virgin Mary, and she loved to pray the rosary every day. She was devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and enjoyed praying the Divine Mercy.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio De Marco; her children, Raffaella (Giovanni) Giuliano, Michael (Tina) De Marco and Pasquale (Sarah) De Marco; her grandchildren, Francesca Giuliano, Adriana De Marco , Antonio (Leslie) De Marco , Emilina De Marco and Justin Francis; her great-great-grandchildren, Mia and Timothy; her sisters, Ornella (the late Hans) Kohlman; Giovanna (Frank) Paese and Rachela (Joe) Cosentino; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ottorino (Julie) Conforti.

Visitation Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 with prayers to begin promptly at 9:30 AM from the funeral home chapel and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin for a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 11:00 AM.

Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Family & friends are asked to meet at 1:30 PM at the cemetery office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL. 60016. (please enter the cemetery from River Rd.)
