Ruth W. Antonelli

Ruth W. Antonelli (York) age 94, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 30, 1929 the loving daughter of Joseph and Mary York. Mrs. Antonelli was a retired school teacher, who received her Masters in Education from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Surviving are her step-children and their children and grandchildren, Robert Antonelli (Karen) William Antonelli (Maureen), Constance Antonelli, and Leslie Baldwin (Ernie).  

She is also survived by her nieces, Linda (Bill) Kenyon, Jeff (Gail) Flemming, Sue (Ray) Flemming and Carole (Jeff) Flemming, also her cousin, Debra (Ray) Schoenherr.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Warner, her second husband, James Antonelli, and her son, Keith Warner.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of a 10:30 AM prayer service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in Hills.

Interment will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM directly at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside. (please enter the cemetery at Wolf Rd., and meet at the cemetery office at 12:45 PM.)
