Roy Ward

Roy Ward of Algonquin passed away peacefully November 13, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Broken Bow Oklahoma September 29, 1942 to the late James and Lindsay Ward.  Beloved husband of Margaret; loving father of Dave (Cherrell) Ward and Paula (Jeff) Burnette; and James, caring grandfather of Tyler (Taylor) Ward, Aubrey and Dylan Burnette and Nizhoni and Lilliana Ward; fond brother of Joe Bob (Betty) Ward, the late Johnny Ward, Mary Lou Thierry and Mary Harris.

Roy was a devoted husband and father, having unwavering love for his family, he was also full of kindness and generosity, an Army veteran and a rifle expert. He was a hard and dedicated worker giving UPS 30 years of service followed by 25 years at Sam's Club.  Roy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held to honor Roy November 19, 2025 at 6pm - 7:30pm at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W Algonquin Rd., Algonquin Il 60102.
