Rose Marie Zakula (Coppolillo) age 95, formerly of Huntley, Illinois and Arlington Heights, Illinois passed away at the Clarendale of Algonquin on February 1, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 25, 1928 the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn Coppolillo.
Rose loved to bake. So much that she took a job as a baker at the John Hersey High School in Arlington heights for many years. All of her children attended there and everyone knew her and loved her.
Rose is survived by her loving sons, Mark (Kerry) Zakula and Matthew (Catherine) Zakula; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Aaron, Eric (Sanja), Tara (Dan Moxey) and Adam; her great-grandchildren, Vanja, Lucas, Bella and Jenna
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steven Zakula, her son Michael and also her siblings, Fred, Theresa, and William
Cremation rites were accorded privately. A private family inurnment took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
