Rosalie I. Curylo (Masterson) age 84, formerly of Sun City, Huntley passed away at The Clarendale of Algonquin on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was born on August 28, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois and raised by, Fred and Ruth Masterson.
Rose loved to keep busy. When she lived in Del Web her days included, Bocce Ball, Pinochle, Bunco and Bingo. She loved gathering with friends for block parties and dinners. Before her Huntley years, she lived in Palatine where she raised her family and waitressed for 25 years at Pizza Hut. She loved spending time with her family – especially if it included playing slot machines! Celebrating birthdays and holidays brought her so much joy. Rose was a loving, kind, considerate, caring person who will be greatly missed by many.
Rosalie is survived by her son, Bob (Nicole) Curylo of Palatine and her daughter, Cindy (Tom) Baldocchi of Island Lake; her five grandchildren, Chet (Amanda) Curylo, Tyler Curylo, Brianna Curylo, Abby (Mike) Gertz and Tommy Baldocchi; her sister-in-law, Lorraine Grzesik.
In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Curylo in 2017.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 with a 4:00 p.m. Service of Remembrance at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
