Ronald J. Joniak

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Ronald J. Joniak, age 87, of Ft. Meyers, Florida and formerly of Huntley, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, where he will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. He was Born on December 8, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois. He died June 2, 2023, at his home in Florida, surrounded by loving family. Mr. Joniak was a retired Engineer/Galvin Masters Salesman who worked at Motorola. He was also a United States Army Reserve Veteran. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta J. (nee Grench) Joniak and his parents, Edward and Sybil Joniak. He will be dearly missed by his children, Ronald R. (Jennifer), Jeffery (Mary Grace) and James (Tracey) Joniak and Jennifer (Michael) Strybel. He was the grandfather of Ronnie (Adriana), Jeremy (Kristen), Taylor and Jeffery Joniak, Lauren and Brian Strybel; and great-grandfather to Euphemia.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Meyers FL 33908.
