Richard R. Blasinski age 79, a 52 year resident of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on August 27, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 1, 1942 the son of Stanley and Mary (Jodlowski) Blasinski.
He was the former superintendent for the Village of the Lake in the Hills Water Department from 1971 to 1978 and also worked for the Village of Algonquin Water Department just before his retirement. Richard was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed gardening, shopping and talking with his friends and neighbors.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 62, years, Mary Lou (Lence) Blasinski; his children, Debbie (Ray) Bulinski, Chris (Ted) Chmiola, Cindy (Steve) Noble, Wendy (Mike) White and Richard Jr. (Kristen) Blasinski; his 20 grandchildren, his 19 great- grandchildren and his 2 great-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Frances Pech, Alice (Bob) Campin, Robert Blasinski, Thomas Blasinski and Ronald (Barbara) Blasinski;
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Gabrysiak, his brothers-in-law, Richard Gabrysiak and Ray Pech, his sister-in-law, Sharon Blasinski and he is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the LaBahn Hain House at Nockels Park, 149 Hilltop Dr., Lake in the Hills.
Funeral Services will be held privately with his family on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, Illinois.
