Raymond H. Natzke age 81, of Algonquin, Illinois and formerly of Palatine, Illinois passed away June 6, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 24, 1941 the son of Raymond S. and Helen (Schmidt) Natzke.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and dear friend to many and will be missed by all.
Raymond is survived by his children, Scott (Noreen) Natzke, Eileen (Steve) Krieske and Fred (Kimberly) Lauten; his grandchildren, Stephanie Krieske, Daniel Krieske, Alex (Marissa) Natzke and Corey Natzke and Kandice Newton; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Leia and Kaylee; also survived by many cousins.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Diane L. Natzke.
Raymond was a graduate of Luther North High School in Chicago, IL. One of his first jobs was installing the windows in the Marina Towers when they were first built. After this he went into printing, first working at Halls Printing Co. After Hall’s he worked at Alden’s printing for many years, becoming a foreman and the Union President. In the 1980’s he belonged to many bowling leagues, while later in life becoming an avid golfer, which was a great passion of his. After retiring from printing, he volunteered at a local hospital helping patients with Medicare questions.
Cremation rites were held privately. A memorial visitation for Raymond will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM along with Words of Remembrances to be shared at 1:00 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
