Obituary
Ray Swanner age 70, of Marengo, Illinois passed away at home on August 4, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 30, 1953.
Ray always loved participating in car shows where he could show off his 1989 Foxbody Mustang and 1955 ford F-100. With his retirement Ray had more time to spend on his other hobby, upholstery with his son Matthew.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Swanner and his daughter, Melissa Brackmann; his sister, Judy (George) Perhach and his sister-in-law, Sharyl Swanner.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Swanner.
A "Celebration of Life" visitation for Ray will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
