Peggy (Guthrie) Shannon

Peggy E. Shannon (Guthrie) age 69, a resident of Lake in the Hills, Illinois for 30 years passed away at home on October 10, 2020 with her family at her side.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 14, 1951 the daughter Alfred and Betty Guthrie.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Glenn S. Shannon; her children, Kimberly (Tom) Scott, Kerry (Eric) Rasinski, Gerald Fuscone, Kelly (Chris) Zapfe, Sean Fuscone and Maria Fuscone; her grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Ryan Scott, Will Scott, Emily Zapfe, Dillon Chartier, Avalon Fuscone, Lucas Rasinski, Rachael Rasinski and Vinny Natalizio; her brother, Patrick (Karen) Guthrie and her sister, Diane Guthrie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy enjoyed sewing, embroidery, reading and family Ancestry.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Illinois
