Paulo Szwec

Paulo Szwec age 82, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on July 8, 2022. He was born in Brazil on March 11, 1940 to Jacob and Eugenia (Dihtirenco) Szwec.

He worked for Oak Park and River Forest High School for 32 years, as an Accountant. He enjoyed working on his cars, especially his 1930 Ford Model A. He also enjoyed attending his grandsons soccer games, music concerts and art shows.

Paulo is survived by his beloved daughter, Gretel (Corey) Armstrong; his grandsons, Liam Paulo Armstrong and Owen Finneus Armstrong; his sister, Sonia Szwec and nephews, Paulo and Marcelo Szwec.

In addition to his parents, Paulo was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ana (Iwaszkowiec) Szwec in 2015, and his brother, Eduardo Szwec.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM along with a chapel service to begin that evening at 6:00 PM all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Interment Private.
