Patricia S. Mozal

Patricia S. Mozal (Mathison) age 66, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away on November 24, 2023. She was born in Woodstock, Illinois on June 18, 1957 the beloved daughter of Robert and Barbara (DeHaan) Mathison.

Patty was passionate about working with people impacted by disabilities. Her grandchildren and children were the most important people in her life. Cooking for others was something she loved and her soups will be missed by many. Her smile was infectious and she truly brought joy to any and all she worked with.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert A. Mozel; her beloved children, Sara (Joe) Becker, Robert Mozal and Joseph Mozal; her cherished grandchildren, Jameson, Matthew, Julia and Jacob; her dear siblings, Diane Helgeland, Timothy (Pamela) Mathison, Shirley Coulman, Bobby Mathison, Sandra (Brian) Katzenberg and Theresa Mathison. She was a loved aunt to many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Mathison; her brothers, James Mathison and LeRoy Mathison.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hooves To Heal, NFP would be appreciated. This program was near and dear to Patricia’s heart.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 9:30 AM until time of a 12:30 PM prayer service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Interment Alden Cemetery in Harvard, Illinois.
