Nick Louis Leberis

Nick Louis Leberis age 79,  of Chicago, Illinois passed away at his home on October 10, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 20, 1946 the son of Louis and Panagiota Leberis.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War era.

He was a retired Chicago Police Officer and also a retired O’Hare Airport Fleet Runway Manager.  He loved to golf, spend quality time with his family and friends and enjoyed watching the Cubs and Bears play every year.   He is survived by his daughter, Nikki (Ricky) LaVere; his step-daughter, Cherise Manno-Shaw(Lloyd); his grandchildren, Louie and Ricky III, and his former spouse, Linda Leberis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM along with a prayer service to begin at 4:00 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin / Lake in the Hills.
