Michael John Maynard II

Michael John Maynard II, 28, of Bartlett passed away June 18, 2026 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago IL.  Born December 26, 1997, in Hoffman Estates to his loving parents Michael John Maynard and Gina Maynard.  Beloved husband of Samantha Kenzer; caring brother of Brandi (Jack) Werfelmann and Emily Maynard; loving grandson of Rose Ziemba; fond uncle of Emerson Werfelmann.  Michael earned his associates degree in auto mechanics and was a dedicated service technician for the vending machine company Canteen.  In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and he was an amazing cook, especially when it came to grilling, smoking meats and pizza.  The thing he loved most in the world was his Mustang.  Michael will be remembered as the most loyal and caring person many people knew.

Please join us to honor Michael John Maynard II for a time of memorial visitation Sunday June 28, 2026 from 11am - 3:30pm. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 West Algonquin Rd., Algonquin IL 60102.  A prayer service and time to share memories will be at 2:30pm.
