Michael G. Eckart

Michael G. Eckart age 61, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on June 18, 2023 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois. He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on July 18, 1961 to George and Barbara (Peck) Eckart.

Michael was a former firefighter-paramedic for the Village of Northlake, a chef caterer and a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bobiek-Eckart; his children, Erika (Mark) Donahue, Sean (Rita) Eckart; his step-children, Jenny Perry and William (Jacqueline) Bobiek; his grandchildren, Gianna, Ella, Aden, Archer James, Arianna, Jasmine and William; his father, George Eckart; his siblings, Cynthia (Marty) Colman; his brother-in-law, Bob Corner, his sister-in-law, Bobbie (Thomas) St. John and a brother-in-law, Michael (Sandra) Handlon; also survived my nieces & nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Eckart and his sister, Sandra Corner.

A memorial visitation for Michael will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with Words of Remembrances to be shared at 7:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
