Michael Carlson Obituary

Michael A. Carlson, age 72, of Algonquin passed away in the comfort of his home on December 22, 2020 with his loving family at his side.

He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on January 2, 1948, the adopted son of Robert and Thelma Carlson.

Michael was a proud U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War, and longtime member of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231 and the VietNow Veterans organization of McHenry, IL

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia M. (Jakubowicz) Carlson, his loving children, Michael A. (Jamie) Carlson, Eric (Julie) Carlson and Victoria (Camm) Hendricks; his cherished grandchildren, Alexa, Ava, Jacob, Ryan, Adam and Allison; his brother, John (Kelly) Carlson; his foster mother, Arlene (the late Paul) Kuehn.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a Memorial Service and Military Honors under the auspices of the U.S. Army to begin at 7:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Cremation rites were accorded privately.
