Megan L. Fry, 39 of Woodstock, Illinois passed away suddenly at her home from COVID related symptoms on Thursday April 1st, 2021.
Born April 9, 1981 in Crystal Lake, Illinois, Megan was a graduate of Crystal Lake South High School. In 2016, she received her CCMA certification from First Institute in Crystal Lake.
Megan is survived by her children Aubree, 11 and Owen, 9, their father, Brett Betke of Crystal Lake, IL, her mother, Jamie (Swetz) Fry (Dundee, IL); father, George Fry (Eldorado, IL); brothers, Jeremy (Mindy) Fry (Peyton, CO) and Eric (Lisa) Fry (Crystal Lake, IL); 6 nieces, Samantha, Madison, Abby, Julia, Riley and Scarlet and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, June Swetz and Ruth and George Fry Jr.
Megan had a passion for serving others. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She always had a genuine smile and a warm welcome for all those who crossed her path in life. Megan was an extremely proud mama to her two children. They were her heart and soul and she never missed an opportunity to dote on them.
She loved watching her son play baseball and she was in awe of her kind-hearted daughter growing up before her eyes. Megan loved spending time with her children and being surrounded by family and friends. Megan laughed loudly, smiled wide and loved deeply throughout her entire life. She has touched the lives of countless people and memories of her will be cherished by those fortunate to have known and loved her.

A “Megan Fry Memorial Fund” has also been established on gofundme.com. This fund will be used to carry out Megan’s wishes for her children.
