Mary Patricia (Connery) Linquist

Mary Patricia Linquist (Connery) age 76, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away on September 23, 2021 at Northwestern - Medicine McHenry Hospital.

She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 16, 1945 the daughter of Thomas and Florentine (Dorsey) Connery.

She is survived by her daughter, Leanne (Tom) Furby and her son, Bill (Jenny) Linquist; her grandchildren, Lisa (Gavin), Holly, Katie, William and Cooper and her great-grandchildren, Serenity, Elizabeth, and Abigail.

She is also survived by her many beloved siblings, Maureen Connery, Bill (Diane) Connery, Nancy Connery, Cathy (Jim) Hughes, Robert (Dawneen) Connery; her sister-in-law, Kim Connery and also her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded by her husband, Bill Linquist; her parents, Thomas Connery, Sr. and Florentine Connery; her brother, Tom Connery and her grandson, Willis.

Affectionately known as Mary Pat, Mary loved spending time with her family, antiquing, and, of course, her four-legged friends. She loved holiday decorations and was known for having three fully decorated Christmas trees during the holidays. She was a long time employee at Procter and Gamble, and was always eager to share new products with friends and family.

Services for Mary Pat will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Mary Pat’s honor to the American Cancer Association or a local humane society. A celebration of her life will be planned in the future.
