Mary Kathryn Zimmer

Mary Kathryn Zimmer (Turpin), better known as Katie, was born on April 5, 1971, the youngest of her two siblings. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in business management, using it as a stepping stone to hotel management and a start to her dedicated career in hospitality.

She married on September 14, 1996 to her husband and was a loving mother to two daughters. She impacted others around her everywhere she went, and acted as a voice and protector to those she loved. Katie will always be remembered as an example of bravery, compassion, independence, and strength, and she’ll continue to live on through the people she touched, seashells, blue skies, Jimmy Buffett songs, and cold glasses of coca cola.

A "Celebration of Life Gathering" for Katie is forthcoming and will be announced. Please check back.
