Mary Jane Pento

Mary Jane Pento age 95, of Lake Barrington, Illinois passed away November 13, 2025

She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on December 20, 1929 the daughter of James and Maria Scalo.

Mary Jane was a vibrant business woman, who owned and operated her own Travel Agency (American Agency) with her brother, James.  The Agency served many large corporate clients.  She was a dedicated and wonderful mother who always put family as her top priority.

Her loving husband, Dominick, passed away on April 2, 2021.  She is survived by her loving son, Robert (Jennifer) Pento, and her cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Grace and Cole.

Cremation rites will be accorded privately. Her cremains will be inurned at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois along with Dominick’s her loving husband.
