Mary A. Reggio (nee Fauci) age 91, of Carpentersville and formerly of Streamwood passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side on August 2, 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 8, 1930 the daughter of Vincenzo and Anna Marie (Marzullo) Fauci.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Angelo (Wendy) Guardi and Annette Duarte (Rich Gregg) and her loved step-son, Anthony “Tony” (Donna) Reggio; her cherished grandchildren, Mike, Melissa, Dan and Nadia; her brother, James (Dortha) Fauci.; she was a loved aunt to many.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Reggio and also her siblings, Angelo Fauci, John Fauci, Couni Fauci, Dominic Fauci, Lucille Mullins, Santina “Liz” Thiel and Anna Brucato and her step-son, Richard “Rich” (Barbara) Reggio.
She was a devoted Catholic, unwavering in her love of Jesus. She worked at Motorola Solutions Inc. for 35+ years in billing administration. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and also playing cards.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin, along with a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place after Mass at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside at 1:15 PM. (please meet at the cemetery office of Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
