Maragret Ann "Peggy" Roberts

Margaret Ann "Peggy" Roberts of Algonquin, Illinois was born in Oakland, California on July 1, 1944 to Albert and Marie Murphy. She passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2024 at the age of 79.  She is survived by her son, Erik; her daughter-in-law, Molly; her sister, Jeanne; her brother-in- law, Jim and her cherished granddaughters, Katie (married to Steve Farley), Camlin, Mychaela, and Reagan; her great-granddaughter, Myla.  Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Deborah Jensen and her husband Harry.

Peggy had an undeniable love for dogs, especially her Labradors Bailey, Cali and Cooper. Her days would always start with a long walk in the morning. She simply loved being outside, watching the sunrise, listening to the birds and seeing how happy those walks made her dogs. 

Her spirit of adventure and zest for the outdoors left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.  Peggy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as they remember her for her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering love for the simple pleasures in life.

Cremation rites were held privately.
