Lyn Amon Gammad

Lyn Amon Gammad age 60, of Carpentersville, Illinois passed away in the comfort of her home on July 10, 2024 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Pitogo, Quezon Philippines on July 17, 1963 the daughter of Jacinto and Maria (Glindro) Amon.

Lyn was a Nurse at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She always loved to cook for her family and friends and welcomed them into her home with open arms. She loved being around friends and family and taking pictures to capture the moment.

She is survived by her husband, Noel Bangayan Gammad, who she married on May 9, 1985; her 4 sons, Mark Gammad, Chris (Lena) Gammad, Justin Gammad and Taylor Gammad; her brothers, Excelso, Oscar, Rene and Noel; her sisters, Nona, Germelina and Joyce.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and also on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Family & friends will gather on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM for a visitation at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 845 West Main St., West Dundee, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John McNamara officiating.

Interment will follow to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery.
