Le Mount “ Monty “ Doyle Lehrman

Monty Lehrman, 65, of Lake In The Hills passed away peacefully at home October 19, 2025. Born February 15, 1960 in Orange City Iowa to the late Loren and Loretta Lehrman.  Beloved husband of Angela; loving father of Olivia Scarlett Lehrman; best friend of Tom Boy; fond brother of the late Lyndel Joy Lehrman and the late Lila Jean Lehrman.

Monty was raised in Iowa by his loving mother and stepfather Thomas Walsh who was a wonderful historian and taught Monty all about coins, guns and of course history. Monty credits his stepfather with his decision to serve our county in the United States National Guard.

Monty graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1979. He enjoyed 70’s disco music,  coins, antiques and fishing. Monty proudly served his country from 1979-1986 in the Iowa and Illinois National Guard. He married his beautiful wife Angela in 1985. They were blessed to have many memorable travels together, including Paris, France, Japan and Hawaii. Monty cherished his wife and daughter very much. His company was enjoyed by many and he will greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 24, 2025 for 8am. to 10am. at the Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin/ Lake In The Hills Illinois. Funeral services will be at 10am. Interment Windridge Memorial Park in Cary Illinois.
