Laura C. McCool (nee Pyles) age 76, of Algonquin, passed away on March 22, 2020 with her loving daughters by her side. Beloved wife of the late Michael W. McCool; loving mother of Jean (Larry) Haga, Joyce (Joe) Garris and Rhonda (Glenn) Forth; cherished grandmother of Jonathon (Nicole) Byrd, Zachary, Spencer and Carson Garris, Alesa Mueller, Morgan (Bill) Wisvader and Kailen Mueller and step-grandmother of Ingrid Ciano, Alexandra Cira and Jonathan Forth-Berg; great-grandmother of Billy Wisvader; beloved daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Catherine E. Pyles; dear sister of Benjamin H. Pyles, Jr., Linda L. Pyles and Jean P. Levi; she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jane Thompson, and brothers Russell E. Plyes and John G. Pyles. Services are being held privately with her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Willow Funeral Home in Algonquin (847) 458-1700
