Larry M. Olson

Larry M. Olson of Lake In The Hills passed away suddenly on February 24, 2026 at his residence in Lake In The Hills.

Beloved husband of Heidi; loving father of the late Elizabeth, Mark (Jacobo), Paula (Matthew), the late Justin and Ryan; caring brother of Leslie (Fin), Steve and Kris (Nick).

Larry was a talented and dedicated aircraft mechanic and spent 37 years working for American Airlines. He studied at Colorado Aerotech, where he completed his airframe and power plant mechanics studies in 1977. Larry also held a private pilots license and enjoyed flying RC helicopters. He also enjoyed working on his Ford Bronco. In his younger years, he enjoyed skiing while he lived in Colorado and collected scale model trains.  Above all else he cherish time with his family. Larry was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026 from 11am. to 1pm. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin/ Lake In The Hills Illinois. Funeral Services 1pm. Saturday. Interment Fairfield Cemetery in Hawthorne Woods Illinois.
