Kym Griffiths

Kym Griffiths age 61 of Algonquin, Illinois passed away in Elgin, Illinois on December 28, 2021. He was born in Sydney, Australia on August 15, 1960 the loving son of James and Barbara (Fry) Griffiths.

Kym served our community as a proud Firefighter/Paramedic for the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District with 15 years of dedicated service and also worked with the Village of Lake in the Hills with 25 years of service.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie L. (Fehrman) Griffiths; his loving children, Cody (Mitch Mollica) Griffiths and Jaeger Griffiths; his mother, Barbara Griffiths; his siblings, Christopher Griffiths, Cameron Griffiths and Timothy (Jean) Neale

Kym was preceded in death by his father James Griffiths.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Kym will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. (Fireman's walk-through will begin at 5:00 PM followed by a family eulogy).
