Karen Larane Martin

Karen Larane Martin, 65, of Algonquin, IL, died October 25, 2022 in her home.  She was born October 10, 1957, in Hamlet, NC, daughter of the late Howard V. and June L. (Williams) Martin of Union City, TN.  She graduated from the University of Louisville and was a registered nurse, practicing in the ICU and CCU of hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky and Elgin, Illinois.  She enjoyed shopping and her church.

Survivors include her daughter, Madeleine L. Martin of Chicago, IL and three sisters, Janice M. (Greg) Orr of Troy, TN; Valerie G. Martin (Kevin Henry) of Selinsgrove, PA; and Jennifer M. (Stan) Gammon of South Fulton, TN.  She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews. 

A private family memorial is planned for a later date.

Arrangements are under the Care of Willow Funeral Home in Algonquin, Illinois.
