Joseph J. Pociask

Joseph J. “Joe” Pociask age 69, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away on April 20, 2022 in Huntley, Illinois. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 27, 1952 the loving son of Albert J. and Mary (Marcinkiewicz) Pociask.

Joe loved cars, coins, coffee, & casinos. Known as the “candy man,” he made it his mission to put a smile on your face! Joe spent his free time bowling, playing Yahtzee, and enjoying Sunday dinners! His greatest joy was being with his grandchildren.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Linda A. (Borden) Pociask; his loving children, Jason Pociask, Jamie (Jason) Haller and Kristen (Justin) McCulloch; his cherished grandchildren, known to them as “Jaju” to Addison, Kaitlyn, Bryson and Mackenzie.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Pociask, Raymond (Tina) Pociask and Anne (Manny) Pinares.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, along with a time of sharing to begin at 5:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
