Joseph A. Caldrone, 79, of Algonquin, passed away March 24, 2018 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock. He was born on Dec. 27, 1938 in Chicago. On Feb. 16, 1963 in Chicago, Joe married the love of his life, MaryAnn Kasper. Joe was a US Navy Veteran and served on the USS Essex aircraft carrier. He was the proud owner of Affordable Custom Draperies and More in Algonquin for over 20 years. Joe’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, MaryAnn Caldrone; daughters, Cindy (Rob) Smith and Debbie (Bob) Spear; grandchildren, Samantha, Kelsey, Jackson, Bailey, Jonah and Dakota; sister, Barbara Sinclair; nieces and nephews, Cathy (Rich), Michael, MaryLee (Ken), Clarke (Kim) and Kim. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary (Racic) Caldrone, and brother, Salvatore Caldrone.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10am - 1pm at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin, IL 60102 (one mile East of Randall Road). Memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Deacon Sonny Annorrno officiating. Interment will be private.
