Josef M. Rolkowski

Jozef M. Rolkowski age 71, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away on August 26, 2022. He was born in Augustow, Poland on July 23, 1951 to Bronislaw and Jadwiga (Prostko) Rolkowski.

He was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #11091, and an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.  Since his retirement, he enjoyed visiting his native Poland, traveling to both the east and west coast to spend time with his children and enjoying the company of his granddaughters.

Jozef is survived by his wife, Grazyna Rolkowski; his children, Greg (Urszula) Rolkowski, Emily (Milos) Lazic and Matt Rolkowski; his grandchildren, Kaya and Mia; his siblings, Antoni (Lilianna) Rolkowski, Krystyna Rolkowski-Jary and Jan (Malgorzata) Rolkowski.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a Rosary prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd. (Algonquin/Lake in the Hills). 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin.

Interment will follow to Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
