Jonathan "Jonny" White

Jonathan Paul “Jonny” White age 42, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away on November 1, 2022. He was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on June 18, 1980 to Jay and Suzanne (Kirkby) White.

He graduated from Jacobs High School and Elgin Community College. Jonny was a compassionate and talented chef who worked in Laguna Beach, California and Aspen, Colorado. Recently he worked at an award winning restaurant, Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest, Illinois. He was artistic and carved ice sculptures and painted. He loved cycling and snowboarding. He was a loving, thoughtful, and sensitive son, brother, uncle, and nephew who had a huge heart.

Jonny is survived by his loving mother, Suzanne White, his dear sister Jennifer (Brett) Kramer and close brother, J. T. (Val) White, his beloved nieces and nephews, Montey, Maddie, Mason, Mack, Ella, Cash and precious Toni. Along with cousins, Michael, Christopher, Nick, Lauren, and Alex. His aunts and uncles, Jeannie Montagano, Robin Hansell, Doug Littlepage, Gretchen White, Darlene White, Paul (Doreen) White. He is also survived by his cherished girlfriend, Karen Kolosky and many other friends.

Jonny was preceded in death by his father, Jay R. White; his brother, Jason R. White; his paternal grandparents, Mardee and Paul White; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Lee Kirkby, and his uncle Joe Montagano

 A public visitation for Jonny will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 w. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills, where funeral service for Jonny will be held on Thursday morning, November 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Willow Funeral Home chapel.

Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
