John B. DiPrizio age 90, most recently of the White Oaks of McHenry Assisted Living and formerly of Algonquin passed away on December 13, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 26, 1934 the loving son of Joseph and Sarah (Peluso) DiPrizio.
He served our Country as a U.S. Army Veteran, was a 70 year dedicated member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #73, and an avid hunter and fisherman.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Josephine “Jo” (Slovick) DiPrizio; his devoted children, John C. (Barbara) DiPrizio and Kimberly M. (Dale) Seafield; his loving grandchildren, Skylar Seafield, Dustin Foley, Joseph DiPrizio and Anne DiPrizio; his cherished great-granddaughter, Lylah Foley; he is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers and 1 sister and his loving grandson, Jason Michael Foley.
A memorial visitation for John will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. along with a 3:00 p.m. prayer service and Military Honors all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Cremation rites were accorded privately.
