John S. Trejo

John S. Trejo age 54, of Lake in the Hills passed away on August  11, 2021 in Huntley.  

He was born in Elgin, Illinois on December 7, 1966 to John Sr. and Estella (Salazar) Trejo.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth R. (Gonzalez) Trejo; his loving daughters, Jennifer, Cynthia and Jaclyn; his cherished grandchildren, Isaiah and Lily; his father and mother, John Sr. and Estella Trejo; his siblings, Daniel Trejo and Bill (wife, Carron) Trejo; his father and mother-in-law, Hector and Maria Gonzalez. He was also loved by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

John was a truck driver for many years, most recently for Jewel Food Stores, where he made many lasting relationships. His hobbies were building model trucks and trains.

John spent the past 28 years building a loving home where he always put family first. Family was family and friends became family.

A visitation for John will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM at 9:00 PM along with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
