Joan L. Felke

Joan L. (Brink) Felke, 89, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away peacefully on February 28, 2021 at home.  Beloved wife of the late, James H. Felke for 66 years. Loving mother of Dennis, Judy (John) Cropper, Mark, Kathy (Glen) Smiddy and the late Curtis.  Proud grandmother of RJ (Christine)and Mike Cropper, James Felke, Karen (Sam) Othman, Jennifer (Adam) Martinez and Glen Smiddy II;  dearest great grandmother of 11.  Devoted sister of the late Eileen (the late Peter) Tighe. Joan was devoted to her family, she was a loving, faithful wife and caring mother. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her great grandchildren could always make her smile. Visitation Wednesday, March 3, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin  Rd., Algonquin. Prayers will begin at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home and proceed to St. Monica Catholic Church in Carpentersville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JourneyCare Hospice, www.journeycare.org/donate or Alzheimer’s Association, www.act.alz.org
